The Ministry of Energy has issued a statement regarding the situation at well No. 202 in the "M-25" field located in the Boysun district. Earlier, reports about a gas leak at the Boysun gas field had circulated on social media.
According to the ministry, the incident actually occurred a week earlier at well No. 202 in the "M-25" field. At that time, due to geological processes, the specially ignited gas flame was temporarily extinguished.
Experts have stated that such short-term extinguishments are related to the characteristics of local geological processes. Following the event, the gas flame was promptly restored.
Currently, the situation at the "M-25" field in the Boysun district is entirely stable. All operations are being carried out under the supervision of the relevant specialists.
