Uzhydromet has published a weather forecast for January 19-23. On January 19, it will snow only in the Navoi region, and in the morning in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region. On January 20, precipitation (rain, snow) is possible only in the southwestern regions of the republic in the evening. On January 21-23, periodic precipitation (rain, snow) is expected in most of Uzbekistan.
In the first half of the week, the temperature will be within 3°C to 2°C at night and 3°C to 8°C during the day. From the second half of the day, the temperature will gradually decrease: at night it will drop to 2-7° below zero, and during the day to 2° below zero - 3° above zero.
Temperatures in Karakalpakstan are expected to drop to 8-13°C at night and 0-5°C during the day, reaching 3°C during the day by January 23rd. Fog is possible in some areas, on January 21-22, wind gusts up to 13-18 m/s are possible in some areas. In mountainous areas, intermittent snowfall is expected, with an avalanche risk.
In Tashkent, no precipitation is expected on January 19-21: -2°C to 1°C at night, 3°C to 6°C during the day on Monday-Tuesday, and 7°C to 9°C on January 21. From January 22nd to 23rd, intermittent rain and snow are expected: January 22nd - 0-2°C, January 23rd - 3-6°C at night, around 0°C during the day. Fog is possible at night and in the morning.
