Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on the holiday of Navruz

A festive ceremony marking the nationwide Navruz holiday has begun at the “Yangi Uzbekistan” park in Tashkent. Speaking at the event, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the people of Uzbekistan and compatriots who are working and studying abroad on the spring celebration.

In his address, the president said this year’s occasion carries special symbolic meaning because Navruz is being celebrated at the same time as Ramadan Hayit. He described the moment as the meeting of two great rivers, highlighting the spiritual significance of honoring both holidays together.

Mirziyoyev called Navruz a symbol of nature’s awakening, beauty, renewal, and inner purification. He also expressed hope that the holiday would bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to the country.

The ceremony is continuing in an uplifting atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of national values, tolerance, and unity that Navruz represents as a truly public holiday.
