The leadership of the Uzcosmos Agency held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Uzbekistan, uzdaily.uz reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of cooperation in the space sector and the implementation of these technologies in the economy. The main focus was on practical solutions and innovative approaches.
The negotiations covered issues such as the use of space technologies in various sectors, the development of scientific research, the training of qualified personnel, and the implementation of joint projects.
The parties emphasized that China's advanced experience in the space sector will create new opportunities for Uzbekistan to accelerate technological progress.
It was also noted that space technologies could serve to accurately forecast agricultural yields, manage water resources efficiently, strengthen environmental monitoring, and improve urban planning.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed projects being implemented under the President's initiative, including the launch of the first scientific satellite and the training of a national cosmonaut.
The parties exchanged views on further developing cooperation in these areas.
