In the first quarter of 2026, the average monthly salary in Uzbekistan reached 6.82 million soums, according to a report by the National Statistics Committee. Tashkent remains the region with the highest salaries, averaging 11.7 million soums, followed by Navoi province at 8.45 million soums. The lowest average salary was recorded in Kashkadarya province at 4.66 million soums, while the highest salaries are found in the banking, insurance, leasing, and credit sectors, averaging around 18.6 million soums. In contrast, the agriculture, forestry, and fishing sectors reported the lowest average monthly salary at approximately 3.5 million soums.

The highest salaries in the country are attributed to the banking, insurance, leasing, credit, and brokerage sectors. In these fields, the average monthly salary is approximately 18.6 million soums.
The lowest monthly salaries were observed in the agriculture, forestry, and fishing sectors—around 3.5 million soums. Meanwhile, employees in the healthcare and social services sector earned an average of 4.11 million soums, while representatives of the education system received 4.61 million soums.
