In the first quarter of 2026, the average monthly salary in Uzbekistan amounted to 6.82 million soums. This was reported in the report by the Statistics Agency.
According to the data, Tashkent city maintains its lead as the highest-paying region in the republic. On average, salaries in the capital stand at 11.7 million soums. Navoi region took the next position with a figure of 8.45 million soums.
The lowest wages were recorded in the Qashqadaryo region, amounting to 4.66 million soums.
The highest salaries in the country are attributed to the banking, insurance, leasing, credit, and brokerage sectors. In these fields, the average monthly salary is approximately 18.6 million soums.
The lowest monthly salaries were observed in the agriculture, forestry, and fishing sectors—around 3.5 million soums. Meanwhile, employees in the healthcare and social services sector earned an average of 4.11 million soums, while representatives of the education system received 4.61 million soums.
