Artificial rain in Tashkent: the "Clean Air" project has begun

In Tashkent, it is planned to implement a new initiative aimed at improving atmospheric air - artificial rain technology.

This initiative was outlined in the Presidential Decree "On Measures for the Implementation of the National Project "Clean Air," aimed at improving the quality of atmospheric air," adopted on March 25 of this year.

According to the document, special equipment will be installed in areas with low humidity in the city of Tashkent and Tashkent region, and the practice of inducing artificial rain will be established. This project is planned to be implemented in stages until October 1, 2027.

According to experts, this technology will help reduce dust particles and harmful substances in the air and improve atmospheric quality in a short time. It also serves to increase the level of humidity in arid weather conditions.

In accordance with the decree, the implementation of the project is entrusted to the Committee on Ecology, the Academy of Sciences, and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education. They should study foreign experience and implement the most effective solutions.

It is noted that this project is expected to be an important step towards improving the environmental situation in the capital.
