A student who opened an account in the name of others and extorted money from their acquaintances was caught

It turned out that a student of one of the universities in the city of Jizzakh defrauded other people. This was reported by the press service of the regional Internal Affairs Department.

This person, a resident of Sharof Rashidov district, opened a Telegram account in December 2024 in the name of a friend from the Aral Sea region, who was a student at the university where he was studying. Through this account, he asked for a loan of 600 thousand soums from a friend from Kamashi district, Kashkadarya region, who was also a university student.

He transferred the money to a bank card in the name of another person and used it for his personal needs.

Two days later, this person also opened an account in the name of a student living in the "Yangihayot" neighborhood of the district and persuaded the resident to transfer cash.
