In Russia, a situation has emerged that has sparked heated discussions around the education system. According to recent data, the number of children from migrant families in the country’s schools has significantly declined. This was reported by the Speaker of the State Duma of Russia, Vyacheslav Volodin, on his Telegram channel, writes Oxu.Az.
According to official information, several factors have influenced this change. In particular, the main reason is the unsatisfactory results of migrant children in Russian language exams. Failure to meet language requirements has become a serious obstacle to their admission to schools.
In addition, many shortcomings have been identified in the documents submitted by migrant families. In particular, some, when enrolling their children in schools, were unable to provide a permit confirming their legal residence in Russia. Incomplete and invalid documents have been cited as one of the main reasons for refusal of admission to educational institutions.
Experts emphasize that in order for this trend not to negatively affect the educational process, additional measures must be taken. In their opinion, it is important to create equal conditions for all students, expand language learning programs, and ease the adaptation process.
Thus, the significant decrease in the number of migrant children in Russian schools has sparked debates not only in the social but also in the educational sphere. Experts believe that this situation may lead to greater attention in the future to issues of language policy, document control, and migrant integration in the country.
