Arbeloa ruled out five of his star players after the game with City

Following the final UEFA Champions League match against Manchester City, Real Madrid manager Alvaro Arbeloa is planning a squad rotation in the next round of La Liga. This decision was made by the club's professional coaching staff, as the time between the two crucial matches is relatively short.
In the 27th round, Real Madrid will face Elche. According to Marca, Antonio Rüdiger, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Orelen Tchouameni, Federico Valverde, and Thibaut Courtois were excluded from the starting lineup for this match. This was done to provide additional rest for leading players and to prepare for the upcoming Champions League matches.
Despite this, Arbeloa decided to include players with insufficient playing time but high talent in the starting lineup instead of leading players. Dani Carvajal, Miguel Ángel, Gonzalo Garcia, Fran Garcia, and Andrey Lunin are scheduled to compete on March 14th.
This strategic decision by the coach will be a key factor in the team's high performance in both tournaments. Fans, however, expect Real Madrid to maintain dominance through rotation and utilize every opportunity to win challenging matches.
