Mysterious conspiracy theories surrounding the Israeli Prime Minister's disappearance

The tense situation in the Middle East is intensifying not only on the battlefields, but also in the information space. In recent days, various suspicious reports and conspiracy theories regarding the fate of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have captured the world press. Zamin.uz investigated the true nature of the situation.
Netanyahu's recent lack of public appearance has fueled rumors in Iranian media about his "death" or "severe injury." Although there is no official evidence to support this information, some sources continue to portray the situation dramatically.
Tasnim and indirect "evidence"
Tasnim, a news agency close to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has questioned the "vacuities" in the latest personnel of the Israeli Prime Minister. In their opinion:
- Lack of new videos featuring the Prime Minister;
- Unprecedented strengthening of security measures around Netanyahu's residence;
- The unexpected postponement of US Special Representative Steve Utkoff's visit to Israel is raising suspicions.
Scott Ritter's sensational statement
Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter also "contributed" to the situation. He stated that the shelter where Netanyahu was hiding was damaged as a result of the Iranian strikes, and even his brother was killed. However, these claims were not confirmed by any independent source or official body.
The Israeli side's response: "This is just fake!"
The Israeli Prime Minister's office strongly denied these reports, calling them fabricated. According to official dаta:
- On March 7, an official statement was made on behalf of Netanyahu.
- On March 6, he personally visited the site of the explosion in Bear-Sheva.
- It was noted that he had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Chinese media also denied the rumors, stating that no signs of a missile strike were observed around the government building in Jerusalem.
As a conclusion
According to The Jerusalem Post analysts, such stories are part of an information war, aimed at demoralizing the opposing side. It is also not excluded that Netanyahu's temporary isolation from public view may be for security reasons.
In your opinion, is the dissemination of such information a political game or an attempt to hide something, as they say, "without fire, there is no smoke"?
