Trump Administration Expended Major Military Supplies Against Iran

During the Donald Trump administration, the United States military reportedly used significant strategic weapons and munitions in operations against Iran. This information was reported by Financial Times, citing an informed source. Long-range “Tomahawk” missiles were specifically mentioned.
According to CSIS (Center for Strategic and International Studies), the US deployed 168 Tomahawk missiles during the first 100 hours of the Middle East conflict. The report notes that this is “a very large number,” and replenishing these stocks will take years.
The Pentagon plans to submit an official request in the coming days to the White House and Congress for an additional $50 billion in military funding.
The Trump administration estimated that the initial six days of the war against Iran cost at least $11.3 billion. Reuters reported that these figures were presented at a closed briefing in Congress on March 11.
Additionally, the US used a large number of missiles for Patriot defense systems. On March 9, The New York Times reported that Ukraine had received around 600 missiles since the beginning of the war with Russia, while the US used 800 Patriot missiles in the first week of operations against Iran.
White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt stated on March 12 that the US armed forces have sufficient weapons and munitions to achieve the goals set by President Trump.
Thus, the US military actions were aimed not only at strategic goals, but also at maintaining regional security and global balance. Experts emphasize that such large military expenditures and unplanned rapid depletion of reserves could affect the country's future military capabilities.
