Trump's statement stunned european leaders

U.S. President Donald Trump surprised European states with an unexpected statement. According to him, the responsibility for providing aid to Ukraine should mainly fall on Europe and NATO. This was reported by Steigan.

According to the article, Trump intends to reduce Washington’s direct involvement in the Ukrainian conflict. In his view, America should not take on the primary responsibility for the consequences of this crisis; instead, this duty belongs to the European Union and NATO.

In this regard, the head of European diplomacy, Kallas, also expressed her opinion. According to her, NATO cannot exist without the United States. The publication described the situation as follows: “NATO without the U.S. is like a headless chicken.”
