3 Chinese products banned in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, the Technical Regulation Agency and Inspection Service reported the ban on the import of three products made in China. This decision was made to ensure consumer safety and protect against substandard products.

In Tashkent, at the "Urikzor" market, a control purchase was carried out on a hairdryer product under the Mozere brand, made in China. Laboratory tests revealed that this product does not meet the required standards. Negative consequences include:

  • Increased resistance to current;

  • Significant overheating of conductors during current flow;

  • Overheating of insulation;

  • Possible fire and ignition risks;

  • Reduced service life of the device.

In addition, a control purchase was made of an 800 ml shower gel made in China under the FABOLAI brand at the Marghilon market. Laboratory tests showed that this product also does not meet standards. Negative consequences include:

  • Itching, redness, or allergic reactions on the skin;

  • Inflammation of skin tissues;

  • Negative effects on the respiratory system;

  • Disruption of the natural balance of the skin, which could lead to bacterial or fungal diseases.

Moreover, at the Story store in Navoi city, two electric soldering irons labeled "Soldering Iron" and "Epica Star," made in China, were checked. The results indicated that these products do not meet standards and may pose a threat to consumers’ safety during use.

Inspection specialists advise consumers to carefully check the certifications and safety labels when purchasing such products and to avoid using questionable equipment and tools.
