On September 1, in the Chinese city of Tianjin, within the framework of the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization Plus” format, important meetings took place that were remembered not only by state and government leaders, but also by their spouses thanks to special cultural programs. The hostess of the event was Peng Liyuan, the wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
She warmly and sincerely welcomed the guests. Before the start of the cultural program, the first ladies took a family photo together and engaged in friendly conversation. In the first part of the program, representatives of different countries exchanged interesting information about their nations’ cultural heritage, traditional values, and historical achievements. This process not only strengthened the atmosphere of friendship but also further deepened the spiritual closeness between peoples.
After that, a special boat trip along the Haihe River was organized for the first ladies. The views along the riverbank and the city’s combination of modern and historical landscapes left a strong impression on the guests.
The event was attended by the spouses of the leaders of Nepal, Armenia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Egypt, Turkey, and Uzbekistan, as well as the daughter of the President of Iran. For the participants, this trip was not only a cultural event but also a symbol of friendship and cooperation among countries.
Thus, the cultural programs in Tianjin gave the “SCO Plus” summit a unique vibrancy and further strengthened sincere dialogue and friendly relations among the first ladies.
