As a result of operational measures carried out jointly by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Turkey and Uzbekistan, Shakhista Mullayeva, who was wanted, was deported to Uzbekistan. He was charged with fraud. This was reported by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.
According to the information, citizens affected by the actions of this person can appeal to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan or territorial subdivisions.
Also, two other wanted persons accused of tax evasion and violation of customs legislation - Kh. Barotov and S. Kholov - were detained and handed over to the investigative bodies of Uzbekistan.
The official statement emphasized that consistent measures will be taken against every individual evading criminal liability while hiding abroad, and they will be held accountable before the law.
