On the morning of November 1, train operations were fully restored on the Tashkent city above-ground metro ring line. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport.
Now passengers can move along the ring route without any obstacles. There are 12 modern trains serving the route, which run every 7 minutes.
This provides a fast and convenient means of transport for the capital’s residents and visitors. Previously, starting from June 28, the "Technopark – Kipchak" section, that is, the part between "Quruvchilar" and "Yangiobod" stations, was closed.
During the repair works, free metro buses operated along the line. Some shortcomings and faults were identified during the construction of the above-ground line.
As a result of inspections conducted by the Prosecutor General's Office, instructions were given to responsible persons to eliminate the identified shortcomings. According to Kursiv Uzbekistan, Tashkent’s 134th bus now runs on a new route.
