Trump made an unexpected joke: about three countries

US President Donald Trump made a humorous comment about Canada, Greenland, and Venezuela potentially joining the US in the future, The Washington Post reports.
According to the publication's sources, this statement was made by Trump during a closed dinner at the Alfalafa Club on Saturday.
According to the newspaper, some of the president's jokes were not received as expected by the audience, and therefore the hall fell silent several times during the meeting.
Trump also jokingly stated that he has no intention of entering Greenland militarily; on the contrary, it can be bought.
According to the president, he never planned to turn Greenland into the 51st state of the USA. Conversely, Canada could become the 51st state, and Greenland could become the 52nd.
At the same time, Trump jokingly stated that Venezuela is likely to join the US in the future, becoming the 53rd state.
