Principles of Cooperation in Central Asia Established
Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in his article titled "Central Asia on the Threshold of a New Era," emphasized that cooperation in the region should be voluntary, pragmatic, and aimed at achieving tangible results. The head of state noted the necessity of addressing issues critical to the stability of Central Asian countries and expressed his support for continuing regional collaboration.

Mirziyoyev proposed strengthening cooperation in the field of security, highlighting the importance of continuing meetings among security council secretaries, special services, defense, and law enforcement leaders. In the realm of economics, he underscored the need to accelerate intra-regional trade, simplify border crossing procedures, and create favorable conditions for investments.

"It is essential to actively develop industrial cooperation, establish regional and interregional supply chains, and enhance border trade zones," said Mirziyoyev. Additionally, he stressed the importance of strengthening collaboration between states on climate issues and the preservation of water resources.

According to the President, advancing initiatives in education, science, culture, tourism, and youth programs holds significant importance. These efforts, he noted, foster mutual understanding and help shape regional identity based on shared values.

In conclusion, Mirziyoyev emphasized the significance of coordinated actions by the region's countries on the international stage. He also highlighted the effectiveness of the "Central Asia plus" formats in establishing partnerships with key international partners.
