Khalokov and Jalilov Claim Victory at World Championship


Abdumalek Kholokov and Asilbek Jalilov secured two victories for the Uzbekistan national team at the International Boxing Association (IBA) World Championship. Abdumalek Kholokov was scheduled to face Kevin Mosquera of Ecuador in the 60 kg weight category.

However, the bout was canceled as Mosquera failed to meet the weight requirements. The organizers recorded a technical defeat for the Ecuadorian boxer, granting an automatic victory to Kholokov.

As a result, the Uzbek boxer will advance in the tournament without stepping into the ring. Meanwhile, Asilbek Jalilov competed in the 54 kg weight category against Turkey's Sadaiy Ahiskali.

During the bout, Jalilov exerted strong pressure and maintained complete control over his opponent. He dominated with precise strikes and a high tempo in all rounds.

The judges unanimously declared Jalilov the winner with a score of 5-0.
