Mars acquires Pringles company for $36 billion
The Mars Corporation (known for brands such as Snickers and Twix) has received approval from the European Commission to acquire Kellanova, the producer of Pringles chips and Cheez-It crackers. The deal is valued at $35.9 billion, according to Reuters.

The European Commission stated that this merger would not impact competition. Reuters reported that Mars plans to finalize the acquisition of Kellanova by December 11.

According to Andrew Clarke, President of Mars Snacking, this acquisition will significantly expand the company’s brand portfolio. Mars, established in 1911 in the United States, is one of the largest private international corporations involved in the production of food and pet care products.

The company is renowned for brands such as Mars, Snickers, Twix, and M&M’s, as well as pet food brands like Pedigree, Whiskas, and Royal Canin.
