Former Trump Adviser Assisting Lukoil

Trump's former adviser assists "Lukoil"

Donald Trump’s former adviser Brian Lanza is serving as a consultant for the international oil company "Lukoil" in the sale of its foreign assets, according to a report by Politico citing its sources.

The report states that Lanza is helping the company sell its overseas assets. Additionally, he has provided assistance regarding the postponement of certain sales negotiations.

Recently, the U.S. government granted "Lukoil" additional time until mid-January next year to find buyers. Brian Lanza is also preparing for negotiations on selling "Lukoil's" assets to the U.S.-based investment bank Xtellus Partners.

According to Reuters, this financial institution is considered the primary bidder for "Lukoil's" foreign assets. Previously, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Energy, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, announced discussions with the U.S. regarding "Lukoil's" assets in Uzbekistan.

The minister emphasized that this issue would be resolved within the framework of international law and based on Uzbekistan's national interests. Brian Lanza is an American political strategist, lobbyist, and adviser to the Republican Party.

He provided consultations to Donald Trump during the 2016, 2020, and 2024 election campaigns.
