Jeddah-Tashkent Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Bahrain

Air Samarkand airline's flight 9S-3306, traveling from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Tashkent, was forced to make an emergency landing at Bahrain Airport after a passenger suffered a cardiac arrest. The aircraft's captain, Roman Degtev, and first officer, Yegor Smirnov, made the decision to divert to the nearest airport.

Before landing, the cabin crew, led by Svetlana Bolkonskaya, administered first aid to the passenger. After landing in Bahrain, medical personnel immediately boarded the plane, stabilized the passenger's condition, and transported her to a local hospital.

To ensure the safe delivery of the remaining passengers, the plane refueled and proceeded to Tashkent, arriving at the destination at 9:49 a.m. local time.
