At the center of the plot is Pavel Kostikov, an experienced officer who served in the Moscow City Anti-Crime Unit. During a dangerous special operation to capture a killer nicknamed “The Executioner,” he suffers severe injuries, and his close partner Dmitry Smirnov tragically dies.
