Kokand physician Iqbol Saliyev was imprisoned for violating the law.

According to the decision of the Kokand City Criminal Court dated December 17, 2025, citizen Iqbol Saliyev, who was engaged in traditional medicine, was brought to administrative responsibility.

According to the court materials, I. Saliev, born in 1971 in the Fergana region, was found guilty of violating part 3 of Article 59-5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - violation of the legislation on folk medicine.

By court order, he was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest.

The parties were also explained that in case of disagreement with the decision of the court of first instance, they have the right to file an appeal or cassation complaint with the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Fergana Regional Court in the manner and within the time limits established by law.

For information, Iqbol Saliyev was previously held administratively liable. In particular, on January 10, 2025, he was found guilty under part 1 of Article 59-5 of this Code and was fined 20 times the base calculation amount.
