According to Uzhydromet, from December 22 to 25, mostly variable weather will persist across Uzbekistan, with cold conditions in some areas. No precipitation is expected in most regions; however, fog and icy conditions on roads may occur.
In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the weather will be dry, with nighttime temperatures dropping to minus 10 degrees Celsius and daytime temperatures around plus 5 degrees. In Bukhara and Navoi regions, light snow may fall in some areas at the beginning of the week, while precipitation will stop in the following days.
In Tashkent, Syrdarya, Samarkand, and Jizzakh regions, the weather will also remain stable, with possible snowfall on certain days and icy roads. Daytime temperatures are expected to gradually rise and may reach up to 10 degrees Celsius.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, short-term snowfall is expected on December 22, followed by clearer weather. In the regions of the Fergana Valley, no precipitation is forecast, but morning fog may cause difficulties for drivers.
In mountainous areas, snowfall is expected on December 22–23, and the risk of avalanches will remain in some places. Specialists urge caution when traveling on roads and when using heating equipment.
In short, at the beginning of the week, winter will make itself felt: cold, foggy days requiring extra caution lie ahead.
