The US and Israeli airstrike partially destroyed the B1 bridge under construction in Karaj, near Tehran.
The bridge was planned to be part of a major highway connecting the region with the Iranian capital. Iranian state media reported that the attack resulted in casualties and damage to the Iranian Pasteur Institute in Tehran.
The strikes occurred shortly after President Trump's speech on Wednesday, announcing that the war was almost over, but Iran threatened to bomb it "extremely strongly" if it did not comply with his demands.
In response to the attack on the B1 bridge connecting Karj and Tehran, the Iranian news agency Noor News published a list of 10 strategic targets in the Middle East and Israel, including: the Arik Bridge, the El Enabi Bridge, the King Fahd Bridge, the Sheikh Zayed Bridge.
