Highly skilled experts are leaving Elon Musk's SpaceXAI

SpaceXAI, the company rebranded by Elon Musk, is facing significant staff losses. According to The Information, more than 50 researchers and engineers have left the company since February. Among them are leading experts in programming, world models, and the Grok voice system. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports .
Most of the departing employees are moving to competitors such as Meta and Thinking Machine Labs, founded by Mira Murati. Specifically, at least 11 employees have joined Meta, while 7 others have chosen Thinking Machine Labs. Currently, the core team responsible for training artificial intelligence models has shrunk significantly.
It is reported that Musk's overly strict work culture and setting unrealistic deadlines are causing the staff exodus. Employees are dissatisfied with the hasty decisions being made at the expense of quality in developing the Grok model. Additionally, the stock options and financial opportunities offered by SpaceX may have made the decision to leave the company easier.
After SpaceX acquired xAI in February, new leadership was appointed, and the company was renamed to SpaceXAI earlier this month. However, the departure of leading experts raises doubts about the company's ability to create competitive artificial intelligence models in the future.
