The Tashkent city Council of People's Deputies approved changes to the parameters of the city budget for 2025. Additional funds from extra sources are allocated to education, sports, social assistance, and city improvement areas.
According to the document, part of the funds will be directed to the field of education. This includes repairing and equipping preschools, schools, and colleges, as well as purchasing new inventories and equipment.
Funds have also been allocated to purchase medical transport and equipment, and to improve conditions in hospitals and polyclinics. In addition, projects aimed at city improvement and creating a comfortable environment will receive extra funding.
This includes renovation of public spaces, landscaping, and infrastructure development. The proper use of allocated funds will be monitored by the relevant departments and the financial division of the mayor’s office.
