Uzbekistan will allocate $100 million to artificial intelligence startups


$100 million will be allocated in Uzbekistan for startups related to artificial intelligence. These funds will be directed to the implementation of artificial intelligence in the activities of government agencies, as well as supporting projects in the fields of economy and social sector.

$50 million of the allocated funds will be spent on increasing the efficiency of government structures and improving service quality for the public by introducing artificial intelligence technologies. The remaining $50 million will be directed to implementing promising startups and projects utilizing artificial intelligence through the “Fund of Funds” and IT Park Ventures venture funds.

The task of distributing the funds will be managed by the Coordinating Commission for the implementation of the “Digital Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy.
