According to our weekly analysis of the exchange rates published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during the next working week of November 2025, the exchange rate of 1 US dollar against the national currency — the Uzbek soum — decreased by 70.43 soums.
Weekly dynamics
Throughout the week, the USD–UZS exchange rate experienced noticeable fluctuations. In particular, during the first half of the week a decline was observed:
Monday: +54.51 UZS
Tuesday: –29.69 UZS
Wednesday: –69.22 UZS
This downward trend may be related to international market dynamics, changes in import–export operations, and shifts in domestic demand.
In the second half of the week, the decline continued:
Thursday: –29.77 UZS
Friday: +3.74 UZS
As a result, the overall weekly change was positive for the national currency, with the dollar weakening by 70.43 soums.
The Central Bank forms exchange rates based on market mechanisms and aims to maintain stability in economic processes. Such fluctuations in the exchange rate reflect the global economic environment, foreign trade volume, and the level of domestic economic activity.
