Record-breaking hot years await the world

The world may face an unprecedented period of heat in the coming years. According to the World Meteorological Organization, there is a very high probability that global temperatures will reach record levels by 2030.

The organization's report states that the hottest year in human history could be recorded as early as 2027. Experts also link this situation to the El Niño climate phenomenon expected at the end of the year. This process could lead to a further rise in temperatures in the Earth's atmosphere.

The report was prepared by the Met Office, noting an 86 percent probability that at least one year between 2026 and 2030 will break the heat record set in 2024.

Furthermore, there is an estimated 75 percent probability that the average global temperature over the next five years will be more than 1.5 degrees higher than in the pre-industrial era.
