In Uzbekistan, people working in trade and the media sector are more confident than others that their incomes will rise over the next year. According to the Central Bank’s survey for the third quarter of 2025, 81% of respondents among salespeople and journalists expect salaries and revenues to increase. Kursiv.uz reports. reports .

The report explains this high optimism by the expansion of domestic trade volumes, as well as the development of digital technologies and the media market. Positive expectations are also seen in other areas, but the figures are lower: 73% expect income growth in utilities and household services, 72% in tourism and the restaurant business, and 70% in education.

In agriculture, construction, and public administration, confidence remains around 66–69%. The most cautious views were observed among transport and banking employees—about 63% of respondents in these sectors expect income growth. Overall, nearly two-thirds of the country’s population believe their incomes will increase in the coming period.
