Uzbekistan U-23 vs Lebanon: big group battles ahead

At the U-23 Asian Cup hosted in Saudi Arabia, our youth national team has been drawn into Group C. Ravshan Haydarov’s side will face more experienced and physically strong opponents such as Lebanon, Iran and South Korea in this stage.
This group is not the kind where you can say “we’ll cruise through”: every match demands discipline, character and tactical patience. The first game, in particular, is the start that sets the psychological tone for the whole tournament. That’s why today’s clash is not just 90 minutes for our team, but an important roadmap for the next steps in the group.
Today, in Round 1, Uzbekistan’s U-23 national team will take the field against their Lebanese counterparts. It is expected to be a match where you can’t afford mistakes while thinking “there’s still time” even in the third minute—full focus will be required from the first whistle.
Kick-off is at 19:00 Tashkent time.
A simple tip for fans: keep the remote ready—tonight your nerves switch to “sports mode.”
