The final match of the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations has also come to an end. The Ivorian national team played against Burkina Faso and finished the match convincingly and decisively with a score of 3:0.
From the very beginning of the meeting, it was clear that the "elephants" were in a serious mood. In the 20th minute, Diallo opened the scoring, giving the team an early lead. Shortly after, in the 32nd minute, Diomande scored once again, turning the pace of the game in favor of Ivory Coast.
Burkina Faso tried to change the situation in the second half, but errors in defense and pressure from the opponent "did not let them breathe." At the end of the match, in the 87th minute, Touré scored the third goal, putting the final point on the score - 3:0.
Thus, Côte d'Ivoire passed the quarterfinals without a problem and made it to the list as the last participant in the quarterfinals. Now, the "elephants" face a real test: the Egyptian national team awaits them on their way to the semi-finals.
