Semeno at Manchester City: A big 75 million transfer is officially close

Manchester City is on the verge of taking another big step in the winter transfer market. According to information released by insider Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth wing-forward Antoine Semeno has reached an agreement to join the Citizens, and now the main issue remains a medical examination and paperwork.
Sources indicate the transaction is valued at around £65 million, which is approximately €75 million. It is also emphasized that this amount is related to the compensation stipulated in Semeno's contract.
Interestingly, the 25-year-old Ghanaian winger is reportedly attracting interest from other major Premier League clubs as well. But Semeno is making the choice in favor of City. One of the key factors here is the desire to work under Pep Guardiola: for the player, this is a new stage in his career, a new demand, and a new field.
Semeno's decision is not difficult to understand. He has made 19 appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 3 assists. His speed, determination in single combat, the ability to break through from the wing and "explode" the attack - these are his greatest strengths. Therefore, a championship-winning team like City wants to add another "additional engine" to their attack.
Now, the main question for the fans is one: if everything goes smoothly after the medical examination, a new transfer story will officially begin at Etihad. If so, this winter could be a new story for both Semeno and City.
