Citizen stranded in Chirchiq River rescued

On the night of May 11, a report was received that a citizen was in need of help in the Chirchiq River, which flows through the Yangihayot district of Tashkent. Following the information provided to the duty unit of the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department, rescuers immediately headed to the scene.
It turned out that a citizen named B.M. had gone to one of the islands in the middle of the river to fish. However, due to a sudden change in weather, heavy rain, and a rapid rise in water levels, he became stranded on the island.
The situation became dangerous because the citizen could not return to the shore on his own. When the water level in the river rises, even for an experienced person, moving is very risky. One wrong step can pose a serious threat to life.
Rescuers from the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department who arrived at the scene carried out special rescue operations. Taking the necessary precautions, they managed to bring the citizen to a safe area.
Most importantly, no one was injured as a result of this incident. The citizen was rescued safely, and the situation did not end in a tragedy.
This incident once again reminds citizens of an important rule: in rainy weather, when there is a possibility of rising water levels, one must be careful near rivers, canals, and other bodies of water. In particular, going to islands in the middle of a river for fishing or recreation can be dangerous.
Nature sometimes 'changes plans' without warning. Therefore, safety should be the top priority: fish can be caught again, but life is only one.
