Tashkent Flower Festival transforms the city into a colorful haven

A large-scale Flower Festival is underway in Tashkent. Organized for residents and guests of the capital, this festive event has brought a special mood, colorful landscapes, and a spring breeze to the city. The festival has become a major project combining flower exhibitions, urban development, infrastructure, security, and cultural recreation.
Organizers have shared key figures regarding the work carried out during the festival. According to them, 2 million flowers have been planted across the capital. These flowers consist of over 20 varieties in 9 different colors, adding unique beauty to city streets, parks, and festival grounds.
In addition, 18,000 shrubs have been planted. This further enriches the festival landscape, making the areas significant not only as temporary decorations but also from a long-term landscaping perspective. Simply put, Tashkent has now turned on its “perfect photo background” mode.
35 pieces of special equipment and 2,000 landscaping service employees were involved in the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the festival. These numbers show that a great deal of labor, planning, and coordinated work lies behind the event. A festival of this scale is not limited to planting flowers; maintaining them, caring for them, and creating a comfortable environment for guests is also crucial.
More than 80 photo zones have been set up for guests. This makes the festival more attractive, memorable, and an interesting spot for social media. Additionally, 12 food outlets have been established to provide convenience for visitors.
300 volunteers are coordinating the event process. They help guide guests, maintain order, and contribute to making the festival atmosphere more comfortable. While the service of volunteers in large events may often go unnoticed, they are an essential force that improves the overall impression for guests.
Security is also a top priority. More than 350 officers from the Internal Affairs Department and the National Guard are ensuring order in the festival areas. Mounted patrols and canine units have also been deployed. These measures are taken to ensure that residents and guests can enjoy the festival with peace of mind.
The Flower Festival enhances the festive atmosphere in Tashkent, making the city a more beautiful and vibrant place. This event provides a great opportunity for family walks, meetings with friends, taking photos, and simply enjoying the spring mood.
The festival continues to welcome the capital's residents and guests. So, for those who haven't made it yet, there is still an opportunity: you can stroll among the flowers, capture beautiful shots, and feel the festive spirit of the city.
