Bravo is creating micro-dramas for the Peacock app

The micro-drama trend is gaining popularity. As apps like ReelShort and DramaBox generate billions in revenue, Peacock has announced it will feature two new micro-dramas produced by Bravo on its app. These vertical-format videos last between 60 and 90 seconds and are designed to provide a TikTok-style short viewing experience. This is reported by Techcrunch.com .
One of the new projects is titled "Salon Confessionals with Madison LeCroy," where the "Southern Charm" star helps clients with makeovers while listening to their most interesting stories. The second project, "Campus Confidential: Miami," is dedicated to the lives of college students. According to Peacock, this is the first time a major US streaming platform has produced micro-dramas.
The micro-drama market, which became popular in China, is growing rapidly in the US as well. According to analytics firm Appfigures, ReelShort generated $1.2 billion in revenue in 2025, and DramaBox more than doubled its figures. Although the market is currently filled with many low-quality, template-based series, users are showing great interest in them.
The partnership between Peacock and Bravo could offer a higher-quality approach in this segment. The platform hopes that when its loyal audience logs in to watch popular shows like "Vanderpump Rules," they will also engage with these short and entertaining videos.
