The Central Bank fined 10 banks

The Central Bank's Banking Supervision Committee considered 44 issues at its meetings in January 2025, the regulator's press service reported.

It was noted that 36 issues related to registration and licensing were considered at the meeting. In addition, 8 issues related to the financial condition of credit organizations were discussed - compliance with the Central Bank's instructions and prudential regulations, studies conducted in commercial banks, microfinance organizations and payment organizations, and compliance with the requirements of the Law "On Appeals of Individuals and Legal Entities".

1 operator of the payment system was warned about the application of measures and sanctions due to deficiencies identified as a result of studies conducted by the Central Bank, including non-compliance with the instructions of the Central Bank and legal requirements.
