With the onset of August, the country’s Hydrometeorological Service has published its forecast regarding what the weather will be like throughout the country, how temperatures will change, and the likelihood of rain. The weather conditions this month are characterized by changes typical for the summer season.
At the very beginning of August, the weather will be quite dry and moderately warm. According to meteorologists, for most of the month, daytime temperatures will mainly remain around 34-37 degrees. In the southern regions, in some places, the air temperature may rise to 40-41 degrees. These figures are close to the average annual values for August and are considered comfortable for most people.
At night, the temperature will usually be in the range of 18-23 degrees. By the third ten-day period of the month, the weather will gradually become cooler: at night, the temperature will slowly drop to 13-18 degrees, and during the day to 30-35 degrees, and in the south to 36-38 degrees.
The probability of rain in August will be low in most parts of the republic. That is, this month will mainly be a dry period, and strong heat, as in July, is not expected. According to meteorologists, the average temperature in August will be 1.5-2.5 degrees lower than in July. However, August is still considered a hot summer month.
Another noteworthy point is that, like other months of the year, August is also expected to be under the influence of climate change. Specialists note that the difference between the average temperatures in August for the periods 1991-2020 and 1961-1990 is 1.2-1.5 degrees.
Thus, this year August, as usual, will mostly pass in dry, but not excessively hot, moderate and stable weather conditions. All students, business people, and parents preparing for the autumn season are advised to take this forecast into account.
