
The Uzbek national team has conducted recovery exercises ahead of the important match against Iran, the UFA press service reports.

On the evening of March 21, the “white wolves” conducted light recovery exercises at the training ground in Tashkent. The players who did not participate in the match against the Kyrgyz Republic, including Oston Urunov and Sherzod Nasrullaev, also took to the field. This was received as particularly good news for the fans.

The staff, led by Temur Kopadze, pays special attention to maintaining the physical condition, pre-match preparation, and general mood of the players. A positive spirit and unity reign in the team.

The national team will travel to Iran on March 23. In the current situation, Iran is the leader in Group A with 19 points, while Uzbekistan is in second place with 16 points. The third-place holders, the UAE and Qatar, have accumulated 10 points each. This match could pave the way to the decisive stage of the World Cup qualifiers.
