Real to hold frank talks with Mbappe and Vinicius

Since Kylian Mbappe’s return to the squad, Real’s defense has shown signs of weakness. The main issue appears to be that the star forwards are not contributing enough defensively.

This includes both Mbappe and Vinicius Junior. Head coach Xabi Alonso didn’t criticize them directly after the loss but stressed the importance of teamwork.

According to Marca, the club’s management is planning face-to-face meetings with the players to discuss their goals, mindset, and commitment to the team. Vinicius is of particular interest, as his contract has not yet been renewed.

Mbappe is also expected to be spoken to, as the club is dissatisfied with his off-the-ball performance. President Florentino Perez has elevated Vinicius’s status, signaling his importance to the club’s future.
