In the final match of the 15th round of the Bundesliga, Munich's Bayern defeated Heidenheim away with a resounding 4-0 victory and entered the winter break as the league leader. Bayern opened the score following a corner kick.
Josip Stanišić sent the ball into the net from close range. Afterwards, the Munich side increased their advantage with deflected shots. Michael Olise accurately struck the ball into the goal after it rebounded back. Heidenheim attempted to revive their game through passes and set-piece situations.
However, Bayern maintained their structure and gradually slowed the game's pace. Continuing their attack from the right wing, Bayern's Luis Díaz scored with a header.
Harry Kane sealed the match: he received the ball in the penalty area, turned, and struck it into the corner of the goal. As a result, Bayern strengthened their lead in the table with 41 points, while Heidenheim, with 11 points, remained on the verge of the relegation zone.
