Fiorentina defeats Udinese with five goals to secure first victory


In the 16th round of the Italian Serie A, Fiorentina hosted Udinese and secured their first victory of the season with a decisive score. In the 8th minute of the match, Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye was sent off for a harsh foul against Moise Kean.

Rolando Mandragora took the resulting penalty, but the ball hit the crossbar. Shortly after, Albert Gudmundsson also struck the post, but during the same attack, Mandragora scored from a long-range shot to open the scoring.

In the 42nd minute, Gudmundsson doubled the advantage with a strike from outside the penalty area. Just before halftime, Sher N'Dur scored with a header following a cross from Nicolo Fagioli, concluding the first half 3-0.

In the second half, the home team maintained their pressure. After Fabiano Parisi's shot hit the post, Moise Kean converted the rebound into a goal. In the 66th minute, Umar Sade scored from outside the box to reduce the deficit for Udinese.

However, shortly afterwards, Kean scored again, assisted by Nicolo Fortini, sealing the game at 5-1. Thus, Fiorentina celebrated their first victory of the season but still remains at the bottom of the league table.

Meanwhile, Udinese is part of the group competing for 9th place. Goals: Mandragora (21), Gudmundsson (42), N'Dur (45), Kean (56, 69) — Sade (66).
