The Champions League’s official social media pages announced the Team of the Week following the results of Matchday 7 of the league phase. The list also included Real Madrid forward Vinicius and Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
The Team of the Week is as follows: Tsolakis (Olympiacos) – Porro (Tottenham), Gundersen (Bodo/Glimt), Van Dijk (Liverpool), Djafarguliyev (Qarabag); Thuram (Juventus), Navarro (Athletic), Fermin Lopez (Barcelona); Simeone (Atletico), Vinicius (Real Madrid), Suarez (Sporting Lisbon).
After Matchday 7 in the Champions League, 15 teams advanced to the playoff stage. Arsenal and Bayern progressed directly to the round of 16.
Matchday 8 fixtures of the league phase will be played on January 28.
