Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany commented on 39-year-old striker Edin Dzeko’s move to Schalke. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
According to Kompany, the fact that Dzeko has been performing at a high level for many years is primarily due to his professionalism. The coach also cited goalkeeper Manuel Neuer as an example, stressing that the key to maintaining top form at an older age is a professional approach.
Kompany also noted that at this stage Dzeko’s transfer could become a very important factor for Schalke and wished the player good luck.
As a reminder, Edin Dzeko and Vincent Kompany played together at Manchester City from 2011 to 2015.
