Brazilian talented forward Endrick has made unexpected remarks about his future. The player, who is currently playing on loan at French club Lyon, did not rule out the possibility of continuing his career with the same team. This was reported by Goal.com reported.
The forward said he is ready to consider staying at the club if Lyon secure a place in the UEFA Champions League at the end of the season. Endrick has managed to return to his best form after moving to France in January.
“If the team qualifies for the Champions League, will I stay? Honestly, I do not know.
We agreed on a six-month loan, but if I need to return to Real Madrid, I will return gladly,” the Brazilian footballer said.
The 19-year-old forward has drawn the attention of experts by contributing to 10 goals in his first 13 matches in the French championship. For the player, who was unhappy with his limited playing time in Spain, the move has helped revive his career.
Endrick also stressed that he prefers to play as a central striker on the pitch. A final decision on his future is expected to be made at the end of the season, depending on Lyon's position in the standings.
