Former Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has reached a final decision on his future plans after leaving Old Trafford in January. The Portuguese specialist has said he does not intend to look for a new job immediately. This was reported by Goal.com report.
According to the report, Amorim plans to take a creative break, a sabbatical, during the 2026-27 season. The coach wants to spend this time resting and working on himself.
The experienced specialist aims to continue his professional development abroad. For this reason, he has completely ruled out the possibility of returning to his homeland to coach one of the clubs in Portugal.
Amorim's decision came as a surprise to many European giants. Any team hoping to add him to its ranks will now have to wait at least a year.
