Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko has shared his plans after his debut season in the English Premier League. The Slovenian footballer intends to win trophies at Old Trafford and contribute to the team’s success. This was reported by Goal.com reported.
Sesko was transferred from RB Leipzig last summer. He praised the team’s current state and the changes under interim manager Michael Carrick.
In the player’s view, the club is developing in the right direction.
«We are showing great results. A strong spirit has formed in the team.
I really want to win trophies here. We have to work hard for that, but we have enough potential for it,” Sesko said.
Since Carrick took charge of the team in January, the atmosphere at the club has changed significantly. Manchester United have won 8 of their last 12 matches and returned to the race for Champions League qualification.
The 22-year-old striker has scored 10 goals in all competitions this season. He also noted that he is learning a lot from experienced players and the coaching staff, and that life in Manchester suits him.
The team will play Brentford on Monday. There are some squad issues: Lisandro Martinez will miss the match due to suspension.
