Former Fenerbahce player says Mourinho broke his promise

According to Lincoln, the coach failed to keep a promise he had made and showed disrespect toward the player. He stressed that before leaving on loan to Hull City, he spoke with Mourinho, who said he was expecting him at the summer camp in Portugal.
After the footballer finished the season in England, he expected to be called up for the camp, but when he later tried to contact Mourinho, the coach refused to communicate. Lincoln said Mourinho did not speak to him directly and told him to address the sporting director instead.
Lincoln added that even though the team was in Portugal at the time, he was sent to Istanbul and instructed to train separately. He described the situation as unfair and disrespectful, and also said the club did not provide enough support after his injury. “Even if I’m not a famous footballer, I’ve always given everything on the pitch,” he told Fanatik.
Jose Mourinho is currently in charge of Benfica.
